Our Learning Aims
Our learning aim is to encourage all of our students to achieve their potential in Mathematics. All of our teachers have classes across the full ability and age range focusing on all levels of learning, and we are committed to raising individual student aspirations.
We monitor and evaluate each student and track their progress in order to provide early intervention and we enthusiastically aim to challenge and stretch all students in this subject. Mathematics is a necessary life skill and is a fundamental requirement in which ever direction students may take, we aim to extend both their abilities and knowledge and promote an enjoyment of the subject.
We endeavour to identify any special educational needs as early as possible and offer appropriate support in terms of resources and teacher in the terms of learning difficulties or in respect of our more able students.
Our area is extremely well resourced and includes a computer suite and specialised learning materials.
