It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our School, which has strong traditions of providing a stimulating, disciplined, secure and very caring environment in which all children can succeed, both socially and academically.

I am extremely proud of our Schools success, Witton Park High School is a high performing school, improving year on year with outstanding results.  Our excellent GCSE results of our students for 2011 are a tribute to all of their hard work and commitment.  They also recognise the professionalism and drive of the School staff that have supported students superbly throughout their time at Witton Park High School, and are a testament to the support of both parents and Governors.

The School’s results have exceeded targets.  GCSE Maths and English results were very pleasing with 55% and 61% of students achieving grades A* - C respectively.

Overall the students achieved an 80% pass rate at 5 GCSE’s A* - C and 46% including Maths and English.

A particular strength of our School and at the heart of our strong performance is the caring support students receive from staff and of course from parents and carers at home.  The partnership between the School, students, encouraging parents/carers, committed staff and very supportive Governing Body, ensures that Witton Park is the extremely high performing school it is today.

The strong traditions within our School will provide a solid foundation for when, under the Building Schools for the Future programme, the School moves into a brand new state of the art build in 2012.  The project is on time, to budget and clearly visible to all whom visit the School and park.  Our students and staff have contributed their ideas to our new building and surrounding environs ensuring that it is customised to facilitate both academic as well as sporting excellence.

We have an exciting future ahead of us, and I will be supporting our team of dedicated staff and students in continuing the School ethos of being a caring School, where our students and staff are treated with dignity and respect and where their individual cultures are recognised and valued.  We are committed to working within the community in which we are situated.  This philosophy equips our students with the ability to reach their true potential both academically and socially.

I do hope that this website provides an indication of the excellent and caring education offered within our School and If you have any further questions or would like an individual tour of our School please do not hesitate to contact our School Office (telephone 01254 264551) us, who would be only too happy to help.
